JAC Construction serves the Nashville Metro area with a foundation rooted in personal integrity and honesty. Our story has grown through the homes we have built and renovated, and through clients who have introduced us to their friends and families.

Jose Carrillo
Partner & Production Manager
Known as Joe, Jose grew up on a farm, where hard work and resourcefulness were part of everyday life. After moving to Nashville in 2003, he built a career in residential construction, with experience ranging from handyman projects to new home construction.
That hands-on background shapes the way he approaches a project: look closely, solve problems creatively, and keep learning. He continues to study new construction methods and developments to strengthen his craft.
For Joe, personal integrity and honesty guide both life and work. He values the opportunity to help others and create jobs through work he loves. He and his wife, Isabel, share a family and a connection to the business they help build.
Mike Chavez
Partner & Project Manager
Mike’s interest in building began in a family of masons, helping his father and grandfather construct stone fireplaces and homes. That early exposure to the trade developed into a career combining engineering and project management.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2007, followed by a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management in 2008.
Before returning to Nashville in 2018, Mike spent ten years with Chevron in engineering and project management roles, leading projects ranging from $100,000 to $100 million. He brings that background to JAC with a passion for building, an understanding of complex projects, and an appreciation for the practical details behind a successful plan.
Isabel Carrillo
Interior Selection Coordinator
Isabel grew up in a construction family and has been involved in many aspects of the industry. She brings that experience together with a creative outlook in her role as JAC’s Selection Coordinator.
She enjoys helping clients find their inspiration and make selections that work within their budget. Her approach connects the look and feel a client wants with the practical choices that help a project come together.
As both a member of the company and Jose’s wife, Isabel shares a personal connection to JAC’s work. She brings an appreciation for the construction process and the individual touches that turn a space into something meaningful to its owners.
